PROMINENCE HOMES INC.
 | Prominence Homes Inc., a quality custom home builder, was founded in
1989 by partners Mark Padrutt and Kurt Bauch. Their initial project
was a speculative home in the Cross Creek (Akron) development. Since
then, the Rootstown-based company has built homes for customers in
Summit, Portage, Stark, Medina and Wayne counties.

| In 1998 the Home Builders Association of Greater Akron named
Prominence Homes its Builder of the Year.

| Since their company was formed, Bauch and Padrutt have adhered to a
simple philosophy: Quality homes are a good value. This commitment to
quality permeates all aspects of their business, beginning with the
initial concept/planning and design phase and continuing through the
completion of each building project.

| Prominence Homes is dedicated to customer satisfaction. Padrutt and
Bauch spend a significant amount of time with their customers at the
outset of every project to ensure they fully understand the customers’
needs and desires regarding their new home. They also maintain close
contact with each customer throughout the building process.

| Prominence Homes works with a highly skilled group of tradesmen –
many of whom have done work for the company since the late 1980s and
early 1990s.

| Prominence Homes customers can choose from a variety of stock plans,
including colonials, ranches and one-and-a-half story homes. Any of
these plans can be modified to meet an individuals customer’s needs.

| Prominence Homes also builds completely customized homes. Padrutt
and Bauch can begin with something as simple as a customer’s sketch
– or they can work with any plan a customer brings to them.

| Prominence Homes typically has one or more speculative homes under
construction for prospective customers to view. They frequently
showcase their work through the construction of model homes, as well.

| Prominence Homes offers options in design and construction for
individuals who are physically challenged. Lever handles rather than
knob-type handles, larger doorways and handles in the tub and shower
are just a few of the many options available to make life easier for
customers.

| In addition to being named the HBA’s 1998 Builder of the
Year, Prominence Homes has earned special recognition for several
of the homes it has built over the years. The company has twice earned
the coveted People’s Choice Award - first place during the Fall
Parade of Homes and has also garnered first place and honor awards in
recent Best Homes competitions.

| Prominence Homes is a member of the HBA of Greater Akron, and the
Western Reserve HBA. Padrutt has been a
trustee of the HBA of Greater Akron since 1997. The company also
supports the local and national "Home Builders Care"
initiative and is currently involved in the HBA’s John Brown Home
restoration project in Akron. |
